Wowza Streaming Engine
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wowza Streaming Engine is a versatile streaming server software tailored for video streaming, offering users greater control over their streaming experiences. Wowza sought a designer to revamp and reenvision their Software as a Service (SaaS) products and custom software, aiming to establish a cohesive identity across their core product line. Wowza collaborates with prominent clients like Facebook, NASA, ESPN, SONY, and others to manage global live-streaming operations.
DESIGN APPROACH
The design approach for this project is rooted in the diversity of Wowza's service offerings, which can be either interconnected or used independently. We drew inspiration from the Google Model's multi-app user behavior pattern, simplifying the process for users to explore and engage with other product options.
To achieve this, we employed a dark color palette, introduced collapsible menus, and designed dynamic dashboards. This combination of elements creates an environment that is simultaneously distinctive and comfortably familiar. The overarching goal is to reduce the entry barriers for both existing and new users, fostering a seamless and intuitive user experience.
